This declaration was made by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development who, alongside the Minister Delegate to MINEPAT, the Governor of the North Region, representatives of GIZ, the European Union and the Support Unit to the EDF National Authorising Officer (CAON-FED), presided over the official joint launching ceremony of the ABC-PADER and PROCOTON Projects in Garoua.
The aim of these projects, which are jointly funded by the European Union and Germany, is to improve the economic performance of the private actors of the agriculture and livestock sectors, with a view to establishing production systems that are resilient to climate change.
